Because it’s a panel that takes up half the page, even though it’s merely interior scene setting I felt the need to put extra effort into it. Plus, it shows of Jocelyn’s personality. That being said, it took over a day to draw that single panel alone, and I suffered greatly. Even worse, the next panel while much more simple still took me ages to get right, because as previously mentioned I struggle with scale. If you want to know a secret, I put Jocelyn’s room together in The Sims 4 and used that as my reference.
I had a hard time deciding between which colors to go. I think the blue-green one looks more harmonic, but I really liked the depth the purple tint one added so I ended up going with that instead. In the end, I don’t think there’s a right answer so I’ll never be sure in my decision…
